Load Out Supervisor (m/f), Amritsar in Amritsar, Punjab

Your tasks:
- Manages all vendor relationships including shipping carriers
- Checks fulfillment of Reference Standards and publication orders on daily basis, ensuring accuracy of substance and quantity ordered
- Develop and implement recommendations for preventing reoccurrences and ensure that all affected parties/departments are appropriately involved such as accounting
- Manages all human resource elements including the recruitment, selection, appraising, training and development of employees in collaboration with human resource department
- Analyzes overall performance of group and makes recommendations for improvement to increase employee productive or create cost saving steps for the department
- Manages warehouse operations for efficiency of storage and workflow distribution, and ensures a safe warehouse working environment
- Develop team metrics and ensure alignment with overall corporate success plan
- Provides recommendations for improvement and ensures inventory accuracy including adjusting inventory for breakage, obsolete, and cycle counts items as needed to remain leader in industry standards
Your skills:
- Must possess strong problem solving skills
- Coaching and feedback, motivating teams, handling conflict, and driving performance for results
- Prior responsibility for departmental budget
- Must possess ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years of supervisory experience of a distribution team required
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of education and experience
- Knowledge of sound principles of supervision
- 5 years relevant experience in distribution and inventory control
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and be proficient in the use of computer software
